MAGICAL CREATURE INFORMATION

The following information has been compiled for easy navigation in the creation of half-breed characters. This information, while largely based on the world of Harry Potter, is also made up of thoughts contributed by various members and staff  of Expecto Patronum since the opening of the site in 2015. This information is subject to minor changes in the future and can be edited by staff at any time.

VAMPIRES

[/i] require a certain amount of blood to be able to survive, though not nearly to the extent as full vampires. A lack of blood in their diet will result in hunger pains that can render them incapable of moving, a craving that makes them dangerous to anyone who gets too close and will eventually prove to be fatal if they do not drink blood.

• As full vampires are naturally colder than humans, those who are half-vampire run at a slightly lower temperature than normal and are usually pale in their complexion. As a result, they do not feel the cold to the same extent as regular humans.

• Full vampires cannot abide by direct exposure to the sun without near immediate burning and blistering. They require blood on a much more frequent basis, and are prone to fits of delusion if they do not feed at appropriate times.[/ul]
